Finding your numerology birth number, or your destiny number is pretty simple, yet finding your “Name Number” take a little more work. Here is a simple guide on how to do it.

First, here is a breakdown of numbers and the letters they represent:

Step 1: Find your whole number string

Write down the letters in your name and underneath write out your corresponding numbers. I will do a quick example to show you with the name “Paul Don”:

Step 2: Add the numbers together

Add the entire string of numbers together to get the sum. In the example of Paul Don above his number would be 34, then just like you filter this down to get a single digit with your destiny number you add these 2 digits together. So 3 + 4 = 7. Paul’s name number would be 7.

How to get your Birth Number

• First write down your date of birth. I will use the example of July 6, 1965.
• Now add all of the numbers together.
• So: 7 (the month of July) + 6 (the day) + 1+ 9 + 6 + 5 for a total of 34.
• Now separate the two digits, so 34 becomes 3 and 4.
• Add these 2 digits together
• So 3 + 4 = 7
• Your birth number would be 7.
